I've purchased an HP Deskjet 3520 and am having trouble installing it onto my (original) MacBook, OS x.10.5.8. I can't upgrade to the Snow Leopard (as much as I want to) because my laptop is deemed 'too old' by Apple to bother with. It's a great laptop though. Can anyone tell me if my new Deskjet should be compatible?? The box says 10.6 and 10.7 works, the guy who sold it to me at Staples is convinced that 10.5.8 should work too despite my reluctance. Please help!
